Shrink pictures to make them easier to email |
Having difficulty sending pictures by email because the file sizes for images are too big?
Simply highlight the file (or select multiple images), then right-click and choose Send To followed by Mail Recipient. A dialogue box asks if you want to keep the original file size or make pictures smaller. Choose the ‘Make all my pictures smaller’ option and click on OK.
An Outlook Express message window will appear with the selected images attached and reduced in file size to about a tenth of the original. A similar feature in Windows Vista allows finer control over the file-size reduction. Just follow the same steps to see how it works.
